Peppermint Essential Oil may be the most versatile oil on the shelf. Ours comes from potent white peppermint grown in England, traditionally considered the finest and purest available, with a sweeter, milder, more floral scent than bold black peppermint. As full bloom approaches, farmers test the plants daily, so the harvest lands on the day the oil is at its most concentrated.
Diffuse: a few drops for a crisp morning or a mid-afternoon lift.
Topically: always diluted in a carrier oil; a little goes a long way in a massage or scalp rub.
Around the home: add to a homemade room spray for clean, bright mint.
For external use only. Always dilute in a carrier oil before use on skin, and patch-test a small area first. Keep away from eyes, inner ears and other sensitive areas.
Sun: some essential oils, especially citrus oils, can make skin more sensitive to sunlight. Donāt apply to skin that will be in the sun within 12 hours unless itās well diluted.
Pregnancy and health: if youāre pregnant, nursing, taking medication or under a doctorās care, ask your doctor before use.
