Known locally as Putiha or Pahari Putida, spearmint oil has long played a vital role in Ayurvedic medicine. The purest form must be grown from divisions between the delicacy of fresh young green leaves and those which have been dried with the utmost care. While many spearmint essential oils are made with plants that have been carelessly stored for long periods of time, our pure Chaé Organics Spearmint Essential Oil is made only from high-quality mint secured once annually from a fresh plantation. Spearmint has a sweet, refreshing aroma which is considered close to the peppermint family but is a calmer fragrance that still possesses similar properties. Spearmint has a strong, cool, sweet scent that is very refreshing and slightly bitter, and its mintiness is considered much milder than peppermint’s.
15 ml Spearmint Essential Oil
Spearmint Essential Oil has a delicate, sweet yet minty aroma of spearmint which is considered close to the peppermint family but is a calmer fragrance that still possesses similar properties.
When securing the young, luxuriant, and fresh mint it’s important to be sure to cut the stems, bunch them, and hang them in a cool area for use during winter and spring.
