Cinnamon Essential Oil is 100% pure oil from the bark of true Ceylon cinnamon, grown in a tropical climate. The bark is harvested just twice a year, right after each rainy season, when the damp air softens it enough to peel away easily—and only the bark goes into this oil.
Cinnamon bark is very strong on skin: diffuse it, or use it only highly diluted, and keep it away from the eyes, lips and sensitive areas. Keep it well away from children, never swallow it, and check with your doctor first if you’re pregnant.
Diffuse: Start with a single drop or two—it’s very strong.
Topically: Best kept for the diffuser. On skin, use only a trace in plenty of carrier oil—never neat, and never in the bath.
Around the home: A drop in a simmer pot or on potpourri for a warm, bakery-sweet scent.
For external use only. Always dilute in a carrier oil before use on skin, and patch-test a small area first. Keep away from eyes, inner ears and other sensitive areas.
Sun: some essential oils, especially citrus oils, can make skin more sensitive to sunlight. Don’t apply to skin that will be in the sun within 12 hours unless it’s well diluted.
Pregnancy and health: if you’re pregnant, nursing, taking medication or under a doctor’s care, ask your doctor before use.
Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

I have been massaging cinnamon essential oil on my sore knee. It is aiding sore muscles and joints, helping me return to my 15,000 to 20,000 step goal a day.
