Chae Skincare Regimen - 4 simple steps for all skin types

Great skin doesn’t take a complicated routine. The Chaé regimen comes down to four simple steps. Here’s how to do each one, and which Chaé products to use.

The short version

  • Cleanse twice a day, or swap in an exfoliator several times a week.
  • Mist after cleansing to add moisture before the next step.
  • Apply your serum under your moisturizer. Your morning and night picks can differ.
  • Chaé moisturizers are emulsifier-free, made with olive-based micelles and safflower oleosomes instead of PEGs and other ethoxylated compounds.

Step 1: Cleanse or Exfoliate

Cleanse

Cleanse your skin twice a day. Night cleansing is vital for removing makeup, dead skin, excess oil, sweat and the grime of the day. Morning cleansing helps your skin take up moisturizers and nutrients.

Massage a small amount of cleanser onto your skin with light circular motions, then rinse, or remove with a warm, damp washcloth.

Recommended Chaé products:

  • NuClarity Cleanser is a creamy, nourishing cleanser that cleans deeply without stripping or drying your skin. It’s ideal for oily, normal and dry skin.
  • Cleansing Waffles are a fast, easy way to cleanse with just a few wipes of a pre-moistened pad.
  • Foaming Cleanser delivers a puff of foam for pure, easy cleansing.

Exfoliate

Exfoliating removes dead skin cells, gets circulation going, and preps your skin for serums and moisturizer. Replacing your cleanser with an exfoliator several times a week is one of the best ways to keep your skin looking healthy and vibrant.

Apply the exfoliator and leave it on for several minutes as a mask. Then add water and massage your skin gently but firmly with moistened fingers.

Keep It Slippery

Keep your skin moist while you exfoliate so your fingers slide across it, rather than pulling or stretching.

Recommended Chaé products:

  • Açai Polishing Complex is a nutrient-rich exfoliating complex made to lift away dead skin cells and reveal the fresh skin beneath. It’s gentle enough for fragile skin, yet strong enough to clear away the old so your skin always looks its best. Apply it as a mask, then use it as a scrub.
  • Bamboo Total Body Scrub deep cleanses and leaves your skin soft and smooth. Use it on your face or all over your body.

Step 2: Mist or Tone

Mist after cleansing or exfoliating to add moisture and nourishment and prepare your skin for the next step. Hold the bottle 12–18 inches from your face and spray lightly; there’s no need to drench. Serum or moisturizer can follow right away, and you can mist again any time during the day for a renewing boost.

Recommended Chaé products:

  • Neroli Reviving Mist is made with flowers, fruits and essential oils to smooth the appearance of wrinkles and support your skin’s natural renewal, as old cells are released and new skin grows. Neroli blossoms are known to lift your mood while brightening the look of your skin.
  • OxyPlus Mist delivers a dose of stabilized oxygen that refreshes your skin.

Step 3: Serums

Serums are sheer by design, formulated to absorb deeply, down to the layers that hold the “mother cells” where new skin cells begin. Apply them under your moisturizer.

Chaé offers several serums, each made for different skin needs. Your best routine may use a different serum and moisturizer in the morning than in the evening.

Recommended Chaé products:

  • Perfection Brightening Serum is a lightweight formula that’s perfect for mornings. It helps even out the look of your skin tone by fading the appearance of dark spots caused by chemical damage, aging or blemishes, and its vitamin C helps protect against environmental stressors.
  • INFUSION Advanced Serum is our top-selling serum. It quickly improves the look of your skin while moisturizing deeply, with clinically tested ingredients that help counter the effects of the stress hormone cortisol. It glows.
  • NuAge Peptide Serum is packed with multipurpose anti-aging actives backed by clinical trials. It’s a functional serum for skin over 55.
  • Eracer Calm Solution is for problem areas and for skin that struggles to stay clear. It gives your skin what it needs to recover and look clear and blemish-free.

Step 4: Moisturize, Firm and Protect

After your serum, follow with a Chaé moisturizer, designed to release active nutrients slowly while keeping a protective layer on your skin’s surface. Our formulas are made for superior, long-lasting moisture of up to 12 to 14 hours.

Recommended Chaé products:

  • Argan Collagen Moisturizer is rich in nutrients that support your skin’s own renewal. It suits all skin types and is a great choice for oily skin.
  • CoQ10 Revitalizing Moisturizer supports skin energy and moisture retention with hyaluronic acid. When skin gets tired as it ages, this revitalizing complex helps renew and sustain it.
  • G-Force Glutathione Cream delivers glutathione, the master antioxidant, for ageless-looking skin. Use it at night as a night cream in place of Argan or CoQ10.
  • Firming Eye Gel Cream gives the eye area a boost, helping reduce the look of puffiness and fine lines.

Why Chaé Organics Products Work So Well

Many cosmetics hold their ingredients together with emulsifiers, some of which have been known to contain toxins. Soap-based emulsifiers can actually dry your skin out. The others raise bigger concerns for your health: they’re ethoxylated compounds with innocent-sounding names such as PEG, MEA, DEA and TEA.

Chaé takes a different route. Our micelle system uses olive-based ingredients that wrap oils inside water “micelles” to form a lotion or cream. We also use Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oleosomes, a ToxicFree® plant-derived natural liposome that binds to both oil and water. Safflower oil and safflower protein molecules make extraordinarily mild, emulsifier-free, cold-process serums, lotions and creams.

Together, Chaé’s oleosome and micelle systems create serums and moisturizers for radiant-looking skin, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’re not using unnecessary chemicals.

FAQ: The Chaé Skincare Regimen

How often should I cleanse my face?

Twice a day: at night to remove makeup, dead skin, oil and sweat, and in the morning to help your skin take up moisturizers and nutrients.

Does serum go before or after moisturizer?

Before. Serums are sheer and made to absorb deeply, so apply them first and follow with moisturizer.

Can I use different products in the morning and at night?

Yes. Perfection Brightening Serum is lightweight for mornings, and G-Force can replace Argan or CoQ10 as a night cream.
